I had been searching for years for vibrant health and clarity of mind. How could I excel in my professional and creative endeavors without sacrificing my health and well-being? Was there a way to exercise a level of control over my thoughts, so that thoughts of unworthiness and fear did not plague me? 

Honestly, I had many moments where I doubted whether what I was searching for was possible. Maybe this is just what life is – we watch our bodies deteriorate, we live with some level of confusion or unknowing, we sacrifice our health for success, and our minds control us. Despite my doubt, I kept searching, and I am so glad I did because eventually I found Kundalini Yoga, and it changed my life.

Why did Kundalini Yoga change my life when other things failed to do so? 

There are several reasons, but a key reason is that our lives involve a physical experience. If we want to see a change in our lives, that change requires our physical bodies to change. For instance, before I started doing Kundalini Yoga, I did not understand how the brain and body worked. I then learned that to begin to feel better, I needed the nervous system strength to handle the ability to feel good! 

If we lack the nervous system strength, we will not experience things that feel good to us. Why? Because our bodies can’t handle it. If our physical body can’t take something, then we won’t experience it. We generally think we need to handle hard things, which is true, but we also need to feel our greatness, ecstasy, excitement, fun, and joy!

I wanted to feel excited about life; I wanted to feel inspired, I wanted to revel in life. Yet, no matter what I did, I seemed to be stuck feeling stressed out or overwhelmed, with joy coming only in moments here and there. After practicing Kundalini Yoga, my life started to change. It changed in part because Kundalini Yoga strengthened my nervous system and enabled me to handle feeling good! I then began experiencing the life I had been searching for.

Kundalini Yoga is a technology that comes out of thousands of years of yogic science. It is vast in its reach and depth. What I have covered here is just a small piece. In short, though, we are physical beings in a physical experience, so if we want to change our lives for that change to come, our physical bodies must change as well. Kundalini Yoga brings forth those changes and does so in time-tested, efficient, and practical ways.
