WANT TO FLOAT WITH US?
Here are some pre-appointment directions:
Book your float session through our website or over the phone: (336) 663-7562. It is best to create an account in our NEW booking system because it makes it easier for future bookings with any service. You can also enter our referral program and reap other rewards. Check out some of our floating FAQ’s below and other resources here, or feel free to call if you have any specific concerns. On the day of your float avoid shaving, and try not to consume a big meal or caffeine within an hour or two of your float. Arrive 15 min. early to park, de-stress, sign a waiver, and receive a thorough walk-through.

What do I need to do to be prepared?
You have a private shower in your room to rinse off any lotions or oils before your session. All natural & hypoallergenic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for after your session. A fresh towel, Q-tips, and a little ginger candy are in your room as well.
If you have a combination package (lucky you!) we provide a robe, slippers, and bag for you to borrow while going to your next appointment. Please just get dressed in your private room after your appointment.
Changes due to Covid-19: Currently we no longer have lotion in the rooms and cannot provide our silicone swim caps to protect hair. Our amenities to dry and style your hair with your own brush in our restroom area after you appointment have also been removed. So please bring those if you need to and be mindful of the time you spend getting ready.
Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, as we cannot offer water at this time. Last but not least please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth. However, you do not need to wear one in your float room, sauna room, or bathroom.
Do I need to bring anything?
We do have hair dryers, spray deodorant, hair product, lotions, etc. for you to finish getting ready for your day in the restroom areas.
*Please bring your own hair brush/comb*. For guests enjoying multiple services, we will have a robe, slippers, and tote for you to wear in between your services so you won’t have to get dressed to get undressed again.
Is the water clean?
What if I am claustrophobic?
What happens if I fall asleep?
How often can a person float?
Can I eat before I float?
When should I arrive?
If this is not your first time and/or you completed the waivers ahead of time then arriving 5 to 10 minutes early is best just so you are able to take a few minutes to wind down before your session begins. You can use the restroom, read, do some deep breathing, recite a mantra, or simply close your eyes. All members may use the lounge before & after their sessions. *If you are late time will be deducted from your float session.*
Entering your float room in a relaxed state will maximize your float experience. After your 60 minutes of bliss, it can be jolting to jump right back into the chaos of your day. After exiting your private float room, take time to soak in the experience that you just had. Journal, feel free to relax in The Well Cafe and order some delicious tea or our hydrating cold-pressed watermelon juice. Ponder any thoughts that may have come up during your session, or simply bask in the amazing post-float afterglow.
Which Tank Should I Float In?
What is floating?
What should I expect?
It is a different experience. Your body is in an environment it probably hasn’t been in since birth. So it may take some getting used to. We tell clients to stretch in the water, try different positions, push off the sides of the tank in a relaxing rhythmic way
Do not float & should not float…
- Do not float today: while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you have recently dyed your hair, please schedule your session when your hair color has set, typically one week after your coloring.. -If you have any large open cuts or sores (the Epsom salt will burn it).
if you have a cold or the flu, incontinence, flatulence or hemorrhoids, any infectious diseases, infected skin rashes, seizure prone, or suicidal. - If you have scheduled an appointment and need to cancel with us, please let us know that you are cancelling due to illness.
- If you feel like you cannot physically get in or out of the tanks you may have some assistance. We meet ADA requirements, however the nature of the water and tank design can make it difficult to get in and out of.
- under 16 years of age without a guardian present to sign the waiver, or postnatal. If you are uncertain, always consult your physician.
How long is a session?
That’s a lot of salt. What is magnesium sulfate?
Floating while menstruating?
Floating while pregnant?
How much time do I have to shower after my float?
If you are unable to exit the float room in a timely manner and we cannot reset the room for the next client we will have to charge you for the next float.
